SatWise is a free site for practicing the digital SAT. This page says what it keeps about you and why. We keep as little as we can, we do not run ads, and we do not sell your information.

What we store

• If you use the site without an account: your practice answers, scores, flagged questions and settings are kept only in your own browser. We never receive them.
• If you create an account: your email address, your name (the one you type in, or the one Google gives us if you sign in with Google), a password that is stored only in scrambled form, and your practice progress, so it follows you to other devices.
• If you sign in with Google: we get your name and email address from Google. We do not see your Google password and we do not ask for access to anything else in your Google account.

How it is used

• To sign you in, to save your progress, and to show your name on your dashboard.
• To send you the emails an account needs, such as the link that confirms your email address or resets your password.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that run the site (below).

Who handles it

• Supabase stores accounts and saved progress and sends the account emails.
• Google handles the “Continue with Google” sign-in, if you choose it.
• Vercel hosts the site and counts page visits. These counts are anonymous and do not follow you across sites.

Your choices

• Clear your progress: open Settings in the app and choose Reset progress.
• Delete your account and what we hold: message us (below) from the email address on the account and we will remove it.
• Stop the browser copy: clearing this site’s data in your browser removes everything saved on that device.

Children

SatWise is made for students preparing for the SAT. If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian before creating an account.
